COST & NOTES
There is no fee for Interlocked. The course is free; you can use the notes and share the PDFs with interested parties. You can also find all the lessons at this link. https://interlocked.online/lessons
Interlocked is a highly illustrated course; we encourage everyone to print a color copy of each lesson. However, we know that some are more comfortable with digital copies, which is also fine. If you don't have a separate device from the one you zoom in on to view the lesson, we highly recommend having a printed copy on hand. Please note there will be some sessions where participants will need hard copies, especially of specific pages. We will alert everyone when these sessions come up.
OVERVIEW LESSON
Our first session will be an Overview of the entire course. Attached, please find the lesson PDF for this session. We call this session "Lesson 0" or the 10-cent tour because, in two hours, we will bring you on a rapid journey from Genesis to Revelation. Hence, you know more about what the series will cover.
Lesson 0 is the session we usually invite those who want an overview of the series before they commit to joining the rest of it. So if you have a friend or loved one who isn't quite sure if they want to commit to this series, this would be a good session to attend.
Each session builds on the previous ones, so missing lessons would mean having holes in the meta-narrative of the Bible or in understanding biblical truths. We want participants to know that Interlocked is for those who can commit to staying on track with this in-depth Bible study.
We have had participants join part-way through the study in the past. Even though this is not ideal, we will do our best to keep participants up to speed with potential "make-up sessions" as needed.
AUDIO RECORDINGS
Please note that we audio-record all the sessions. We do this to ensure that those who can't make it for any particular session can catch up using the audio recordings and notes. These notes will be kept confidential, and access will be given to only those in the group.
VIDEO AND MIC
Please do plan on having your video on, it's far easier to teach when we can see faces, and it's easier for us to get to know you and learn to match your names and faces as the weeks go by. Please know we are not fussy about how you show up. It's a long class, and we are OK if you stand up to stretch and walk around, run late on a bus, or even finish a meal.
Please ensure your mic is working. We will put everyone on mute while the lesson is going on (as this improves the sound). Please feel free to unmute to make comments or ask questions. And then mute yourself again afterward.
SCRIPTURE READING IN CLASS
From lesson 1 onwards, while we teach and read the commentary from the lesson, the class participants will take turns reading the Scripture passages aloud. We will call out your name when it's your turn to unmute your mic and read. We typically use your Zoom ID name. However, if you have a preferred name to be called, please let us know, and we'll be sure to use that. It is common to have some people join as a group online; in this case, we will allow everyone to read.
Please let us know if you prefer not to participate in the reading for whatever reason. We're OK with that. But please do not let this reading aloud deter you from the class. It is wonderful to hear all the different voices read God's Word aloud to each other.
HOMEWORK
Please be prepared to do Scripture pre-reading before each lesson (except the Overview). As Interlocked was written for believers, we assume a certain level of Bible understanding. So each week, the Scripture Reading prepares you for the next lesson.
It is recommended to review the lesson previously taught before the next lesson. The lessons cover more material exponentially as we head further into the Bible. This is because this is how God has revealed His Word. He assumes we know all that has come before (e.g., in the New Testament, He assumes people understand the Old Testament well). So we encourage participants to review and think through what was covered in previous lessons. Those who do so benefit most from the course.
Discussion questions at the end of each lesson can be used as a personal reflection to help you think more deeply about your faith and understanding of the Bible. Typically, there will not be enough time to discuss these questions as a class. Some couples or families who study Interlocked together use the questions or review the lessons for family discussions. Others write out short answers for themselves as they think through the questions.
QUESTION AND ANSWERS
In class, we give some time for Q&A. However, you might feel you did not get a chance to comment or ask questions. We typically close in prayer and then dismiss the class. Then, those who have more questions are invited to stay back and chat some more.
Please feel free to email or message us in between classes. We are happy to engage with you personally as well. We are on WhatsApp, Telegram and Signal.

MULTIPLYING...
To give you some background... one reason why the notes are so extensive and comprehensive is that we wrote them with the intent of multiplication. Once you are done going through Interlocked, you will be enabled and equipped to share/teach this to your loved ones using the very same notes.
Interlocked was written not only for believers to grow in their faith and understanding of God and His Word but also to equip and empower believers to evangelize to the unbelieving loved ones and children in their lives. After taking interlocked, participants will be equipped to lead a condensed evangelistic version of Interlocked called "Come and See" (12 lessons). In addition, we are developing a 55 lesson, "Interlocked Children's Edition" (for school kids aged 8-12), that you could easily teach after taking Interlocked.
We pray all of us will be of mutual encouragement as we all work together to make disciples of all nations as our Lord instructed us.
Please email us to confirm attendance and share any questions or concerns you might have. See you soon! Thank you!
