God even knows your name! He knows where you live. God knows all about you, because He made you.
He made everything else in the world, too.
"For God so loved the world..." This means He loves every boy and girl in all the world.
He wants you to become His child. God loved you so much He gave His greatest gift to make you His child.
"He gave His only begotten Son..."
God's Son is called the Lord Jesus Christ. He is God's greatest gift to you. God sent Jesus down from heaven to the earth where you live. Jesus was born as a baby. He grew and played like you boys and girls. When Jesus was grown up, He died on the cross for your sins.
God calls the bad things we do sin. He says, "All have sinned." Nobody can wash away your sins but the Lord Jesus. Jesus' blood ran down from His pierced side; as water makes your face clean, so Jesus' blood will clean your sins - all the bad things we have done.
God raised Jesus from the dead. Jesus is alive now in heaven with God. He is everywhere too, like the wind. Jesus is near you all the time. He hears you when you talk to Him.
God says, "Whosoever believeth in HIM" (in Jesus Christ), can have His gift. You believe in Jesus by doing these three things:
1. ASK God to clean you with the blood of the Lord Jesus that He shed on the cross for you. You can say to God, "I am sorry for my sin." (Psalm 38:18 - in the Bible).
2. BELIEVE right now that He takes away your sins. God promises you that He does it. "The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7 - in the Bible).
3. TAKE the Lord Jesus Christ as your gift to live in your heart. God promises you that "As many as received Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God." (John 1:12 - in the Bible).
Thank God right now for making you His child. Jesus will keep your heart clean until you get to heaven.
You can talk to Jesus about anything that makes you sad. He will be with you to help you to be happy in your work and play.
You can tell other boys and girls and grown up people that Jesus loves them, too. Ask them to let Jesus come into their hearts today.
Jesus wants everyone to go to heaven. When you are God's child, the Lord Jesus Christ will come and take you to heaven some day. You will live with God and Jesus forever.
