Historic Annual Meeting

after the potluck supper we began our Annual Meeting

On March 27, we began with a 6 pm Potluck supper that was well-attended, followed by our Annual Membership meeting. This included the usual reports from the various departments of the ministry.

At the end of the meeting came the momentous item on the agenda, when Ruth Friesen explained, and then moved that we change our constitution and by-laws to reflect our new name, Impact Canada Ministries Inc. This motion was quickly seconded by Michael Ruten. It carried unanimously.

Listening to reports In February we received official permission from the Saskatchewan government's Director of Corporations. It has a big red seal and was dated the 14th day of January, 2015.

We expect to spend the rest of the year notifying contacts, and getting the change made everywhere.

While some people seem to avoid Annual meetings, expecting them to be boring, we are happy to say our meetings are inter-generational. Here we have Autumn Ruten and her great-grandmother, Helena Stobbe, waiting for supper.

Helena Stobbe with great grandchild Michael Joshua Ruten The youngest one at this Annual Meeting of Impact Canada Ministries Inc., was little Michael Joshua Ruten. He was a very content and agreeable little attender.
