Following Up a Seeker
A man dropped by the WTM office early in 2011 wanting to talk to someone. The secretary emailed his number to me, so I called him and went to visit him. He was a talker! When he slowed down I said, "Get your Bible." I gave him several references to read, then held hands with him for prayer.
I continued to visit him every Friday. Mid-May he asked, "What do I have to do to be saved?" I showed him the Romans Road in the Inner Peace Factor. When he'd read it, he asked, "Can I do that now?" He confessed his sins, and I affirmed him in my prayer.
When he started talking of going to church I encouraged him. He chose one on the west side where he knew a friend. When I visited there in February I saw that he was quite involved in the singing, and taking notes during the message. I still visit him every Friday and watch him grow in his spiritual life.
