We thank you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

How to Start a Tract Club

Simple steps:
1. Contact us for Membership application, (at least one person of group) fill it out and mail it to us.
2. Organize your group meeting, when, where, who, etc.
3. Request mailing list and supplies.
4. Conduct your club meeting at which you stuff envelopes with tracts
5. Take mailing to post office with proper documentation and postage funds.

In more detail:
At least one person has to be member of Western Tract Mission. That individual will receive an application form to fill out. Once you become a member, you should get a few friends or family together, decide how often you want to meet, what time you want to meet, even at whose house, if you decide to take turns.

You let us know about how many homes you want to send tracts to, (some clubs send to as many as 800 and some to as few as 50), and what day of the month, (for example: last Tuesday of the month).

We get all the tracts, envelopes, response cards, Post Office forms, mail tags, and elastics ready for you. We then mail you all these tracts and supplies for when you meet with your group. Ahead of your meeting you will need to get a bag from the Post Office, in which to put the bundled mail. When you meet with your group, you could start with a devotional brought by anyone in your group, or bring someone in. Then take prayer requests from those in your group. You could pray for the Western Tract Mission, pray for the towns that you are sending the tracts to, etc. You could even sing songs if you want, or as the Lord leads you to do. Also collect donations to cover the postage of the tracts your club will mail.

Stuff the envelopes with one tract of each kind, and one response card (folded). Then you close all the envelopes, and have them counted into bundles of 25. If there is some left but not 25, just bundle them up as well. Put them into the post office bag. Then you may wish to serve refreshments, and that would end the club meeting.

Take the closed envelopes in the post office bag, to the Post Office. Take along the postal forms as well as the mail tags, that we filled out for you, and the postage money you collected.

After your Tract Club meeting write on a piece of paper the amount every couple or individual gave towards the mailing. Send it into the office, and we will send each one a receipt for their donation.
