A Morning Thanksgiving

We Thank Thee, O Father, for Thy readiness to hear and to forgive; for Thy great love to us in spite of our unworthiness and manifold sins; for the many blessings we enjoy above our deserving, our hoping, or our asking. Thou hast been so patient with us in our ingratitude, thoughtlessness and forgetfulness of Thee. For Thy pity, longsuffering, gentleness and goodness we bow our heads in humble thankfulness of heart. We worship Thee for all that Thou art. We bless Thee for all the wonders of Thy grace. Accept our grateful praise, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
