O Come, Let Us Worship

He longs for me to meet with Him in His House; to enjoy His Presence; to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together", Hebrews 10:25, is a Bible exhortation full of blessing to our souls. It is a high privilege indeed to thus draw near to Him, to praise Him, and to seek His help for daily living. There is strength in the Sanctuary, Psalm 96:6. By going up to the Lord's House we openly express our joy to the Father of all Mercies, the Maker of Heaven and Earth. We offer Him in hallowed, reverent worship what He most desires - our possessions, our powers, ourselves, to be a reasonable, holy and living sacrifice unto Him.
