This is love from God's perspective - a pure love that resonates from His very heart. taken from notes by David Jeremiah
We are offered beauty and sweets (chocolate) this time of year
(Valentine's Day) and growing up we often heard this poem:
"Roses are red, violets are blue,
Honey is sweet and so are you."
"How sweet are Your words to my taste
Sweeter than honey to my mouth!"
Relationships are always the core importance; our relationship with God first and then our relationship with others. God's word is our guide, directing us in the way we should go. Often we experience the beauty of sincere forgiveness, of grace, of undeserving favor. As we feed our souls each day by His words, we find that we become more stable, secure and strong, self-controlled and selfless.
"Beloved, let us love one another,
for love is of God;
and everyone who loves
is born of God and knows God."
I John 4:7.
