Victor Nickel as a young men

In Memory of a Stalwart Soul-winner, Victor Nickel

Rev. Victor Jacob Nickel died suddenly at age 83, on January 8, 2009, when hit by a truck as he crossed a street in Saskatoon. Victor and Katie pastored churches at Hague Ferry, Carrot River, Watrous, Glenbush, and Meadow Lake in Saskatchewan, also in Westminster, B.C., and Pincher Creek, AB. Victor held many evangelistic services and rejoiced greatly at the salvation of the lost. They retired to Saskatoon in 1990, where Victor did daily personal evangelism at MacDonalds, or on the streets where he collected pop bottles for cash to support missionaries.

Over $2000 in memorial donations have been received, which will be used to send out more "There is Hope" booklets in an evangelistic mailing sweep.
