I have really been blessed by the many answers that Western Tract Mission has had through prayer. I believe it is because we have a good number of prayer partners. My favorite verses are in Psalm 121; "...He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep." (vs.3a,4) and verse. 2 "My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and the earth!"
Western Tract Mission works with prayer partners in three ways:
* Every Wednesday 10:45 AM we meet at the office. We praise and pray for what is happening within the mission. We get requests from the Bible correspondent students, requests from those who read the newsletter Reflections, and people call in their requests.
* We are so blessed to have email where we can send the Praise & Prayer Report monthly and at no cost. Each missionary reports, and I update on what is happening at the Mission. These recipients too are very important prayer partners.
* Western Tract Mission has an annual Day Of Prayer the third Saturday in November. It is really great to see how the Lord answers prayer from year to year.
This year we have had two very exciting answers of prayer.
1. We have doubled the students enrollment since January for the Bible correspondence courses. We offered a Bible to everyone who sent in ten new names with the parents permission. We have given 41 Bibles with their name on the cover.
2. Then, to see the 16 page Gospel pamphlet come together! The Lord has provided a good printer, and money for the first mailing to cover all of the Saskatchewan cities except Regina the third week in September. We are very hopeful, with the next printing to cover the rest of Saskatchewan in the near future. As soon as we have enough money this can materialize.
