On Sunday Afternoon, September 25, we took time to let our volunteers know they are appreciated a great deal. We also wanted to honour the ministries that had rented office space from us for many years.
One of those was Youth For Christ, who bought a small church just a few blocks away, and had invited us to use their larger meeting room for our Tea. We were happy to visit their new accommodations.
Nicole Simpson, a YFC staffer who had also served WTM as receptionist at the same time for many years, led us in a quiz, and sang some special numbers.
Director, Arnold Stobbe awarded ribbons to those who participated in the Walkathon in June, to some long-time volunteers behind the scenes, and to the former renters at our office building. (Not all were present).

Wendell and Helen served donuts, cake and pop afterwards, and Nicole Simpson gave tours of the lower floor offices to those who were interested.
We were pleased with how God has provided larger, more suitable spaces for them, and grateful for their hospitality to us all.
