This 50 page booket by Mrs. Ada Welch was first published in 1969, but it still blesses those who
read it. Especially if you rejoice at answered prayers.
Mrs. Welch describes her Christian heritage in a godly home, and the answers to prayer she saw even
as a child. But then she continues through her youth, and ministry with her preaching father in many
services, and also in college.

She tells still more answers to prayer from when she was married and she and her husband had
children, and went through tough times, including when her husband died after just 25 years of
marriage. Later her retirement to a seniors' apartment building.
The number of answers to pray she can tell about in just a page or two are astonishing. The kinds of
prayers that are answered have a broad range too. They go from when she was under conviction as a
child, to healing of childhood illnesses, protection from likely drowning, to re-connections with
old friends years later (through the Western Tract Mission's newsletter), souls saved through
evangelistic meetings, and personal encounters and conversations. There were times when she and her
husband stepped out in faith for funds for their business. God provided. A revelation that solved a
problem of missing mail, and protection from dangerous weather while in a vacation cottage, and on
and on the stories go!
Some answers to prayer might seem trivial or insignificant to others, but God cares about the small
details of our lives too, and He does answer when we bring our burdens to Him. This booklet will
