I was raised about 50 miles east of Saskatoon on a farm between Colonsay, Viscount, and Meacham. I attended the College of Arts and Science at the U. of S., Teachers College, and the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute in Camrose, AB. I taught 9 years in Maymont, Wynyard, and Lucky Lake; operated a Christian bookstore 1975-1986 -- in Rosthern, Brooks AB, North Battleford, and finally in Warman; worked at a print shop which published "The Rural Merchant." Since 1990, I have operated my home business called Moen Advertising Specialties --first from the farm and now since 1995 in Saskatoon. I also help on the family farm for seeding and harvest.

When I was 13 years old, an evangelist had a week of meetings at our church. The Gospel, and how to respond to it, was presented so clearly. I, my parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and several other relatives and friends --about 17 people became Christians during that revival.
Immediately a Christian Youth Fellowship was formed. Each one of us took our turn in leading a part of the meetings. It was a great way to help us grow in our new faith. I have been active in church council and committees in several communities. For nearly 15 years I organized VBS for all denominations in the Colonsay, Viscount, Meacham area. Now I have Child Evangelism Fellowship's kids club in my yard.
I'm on church council at Rock of Ages Lutheran Brethren Church here in Saskatoon, and the board of Western Tract Mission which has its unique niche in getting out the Gospel to those who are lost and bound for a Christless eternity unless they hear and accept the Gospel.
