ANNOUNCEMENTS

Appreciation Tea - Sunday, September 11, at 3:00 pm just east of 150 Whiteswan Drive on the Meewasin Trail. If the weather does not permit, we will meet instead at the office building, in the basement as in previous years.

This will be to thank and recognize the volunteers who took part, and who raised over $5000 for the printing and reprinting of tracts. We will be dedicating two new tracts to God's purposes.

You are heartily invited to join us for this time of celebration and fellowship over refreshments. This would be a wonderful time to get to know the people of the mission better. If you wish to volunteer your own time and gifts, we would be glad to talk with you.


BIBLE CORRESPONDENCE COURSES ONLINE

You can now take our correspondence courses on your computer via the Internet! Your lessons are graded electronically immediately, so you can see right away how well you answered. A corrector in our office will still check on lessons, and keep in touch with you by email. This is courtesy of another ministry, which has put the lessons on their site.

On the right hand column you'll see ?Online Lessons? and a door that opens and shuts over and over. Click on either one.

On the next page you'll see a red bar near the top, and in the centre are the words, ?Register New User.? Click on those words.

On the Register page, fill out the form. When you get to the line for the Sponsor code, open the drop down menu and click on the line that says, ?SLM Canada ? Source of Light Canada.? That marks you as a student of SLM & Western Tract Mission (we are in partnership).

Bookmark the site, so you can go back and continue with more lessons at any time. You'll be able to go through your lessons faster, and you won't have the cost of postage stamps. If you have further questions, use our Contact Form to reach our Mailbox Club staff.
