Did you ever form a club with your friends? You needed a purpose and a club name. You probably set up to have a president and secretary, and treasurer too. Then you settled on regular club meetings and activities. It was not that hard to organize a club, was it?
We can help you start a Tract Club to send out the gospel in a systematic way across Canada. Many years ago we started on the east coast, with clubs mailing to rural communities. Now we are up to northern B.C. Our mission supplies the tracts, envelopes, and addresses. We do the paper work for Canada Post on behalf of your Club, and if your have a particular community you want to reach, we can help you do that.
Your part would be to organize your circle of friends, or a youth group, or a Sunday School class, maybe your seniors' circle into a Tract Club. Your club pays the postage, which amounts to .10/each including tax.
At least one person in the Club must be an associate member of this mission. (Simply fill out an application form, with references. You will be notified when accepted).
Organize your Club with any name you wish, choose officers if you like, and agree on regular meeting times. This can be once a month, or every two months, or even every week, if you like. Your contact person with the mission must let Helen, at our office, know how large a mailing you want to prepare and when your meetings are to be. Some stuff a few hundred envelopes, and some ask for 1000 at a time. You will receive a parcel of tracts, envelopes, enclosures, mailbag, etc., with an instruction sheet.
Your meeting may have singing, prayer time, a program, or whatever you wish, besides the envelope stuffing. You collect an offering to cover the postage for your mailing, and someone is responsible for taking the filled mailbag with appropriate label to the post office.
When responses come to your mailing, they are forwarded to your group so you can correspond with the individuals and pray for them, and encourage them in their decision for Christ. Your ultimate rewards are with Christ.
