Our tract ministry in Three Hills began some 25 years or more ago. It was my dream to have 12 groups going at that time and we did get to 5. However, since then a number of the people attending either moved, or age prohibited them from continuing. Nevertheless, we have kept going and now still have two groups in Three Hills.
Our particular group known as Lighthouse Ministry, has continued and meets most months. What keeps us going is simply the fact that we consider our responsibility is to sow the seed, and trust God to give the increase.
Over the years we have had a number of responses.
What seems to be the hardest is to keep contact with them after they have responded. One response came a number of years after it had been sent and by the handwriting came from an elderly person who may well have passed on by the time we received it.
After one mailing we had two respond from one town but again further contact could not be established.
Perhaps our most rewarding response came from a lady in the Swift Current area. In this case we were able to communicate with her and encourage her to seek further help from a local group of believers. I say all this because whether we hear of any response or not, God keeps the records and our responsibility is to keep sowing the seed and watering it with prayer. The hour is getting late and more urgent then ever.
We as a group are looking forward to eternity to reveal all that God did with the tracts. His word will never return void but accomplish His purposes.
