Wise Sayings

What are your yearnings? Desires? What is it that brings satisfaction and joy? Ps. 40:8, "I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart." Real joy is found in serving Him. We like to put value on the services that we do but I Cor. 4:2 states: "Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful." Lots of work and no fruit?

Joy in service. Many times Christian literature is just thrown away, and we wonder if we should be discouraged or faithful. I remember handing an older gentleman tracts a good number of times His English was very poor; but one day he asked me to come into the house, he got out the tracts and said he had read them and then had read the Bible verses in his Ukranian Bible but couldn't find one reference. I helped him find it. That was joy to my heart!

This year it is 60 years since WTM registered as a mission. Through the years many thousands of people have had JOY in service whether it be through tracts, mailbox club, or another ministry. It was exciting to put the WTM history book together and to plan the Celebration for March 31 - April 1.
