The Wordless Book
Have you ever seen a book without words that could tell you a story?
Yes. There is such a thing as a Wordless Book.
You see, it's pages are different colours and if you know what the colours mean, you can tell yourself the story by looking at the coloured pages.

The black page stands for sin and the Bible verse in Romans 3:23, which says, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
|
|
The red page stands for the blood of Jesus that was shed for our sins, and the verse, in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life." |
|
The White page stands for how we become a new creature in Jesus. 11 Corinthians 5:17. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." Psalm 51:7, asks God to wash us-- "Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow."

The Gold page reminds us of Heaven. That is God's home where everything is pure and holy and happy. No one ever cries there again!
Heaven is described in Revelation 21:18-21. "The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. . . . . . The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass."

The last page, or the cover, is green. That stands for how we should grow in our knowledge and obedience of God's Word after we have received His salvation as a gift. 2 Peter 3:18 says, "...But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
